Air Canada E190 enroute on Dec 19th 2013, suspected fuel leak

An Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190, registration C-FHKE performing flight AC-541 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Seattle,WA (USA) with 96 people on board, was enroute at FL320 about 200nm west of Toronto when the crew received a fuel imbalance EICAS warning indicating the loss of 660kg/1450lbs of fuel from the right hand tank. The crew suspected the loss of fuel was caused by a fuel leak, declared PAN and returned to Toronto for a safe landing on runway 23 about 70 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported that no maintenance action was necessary according to the Embraer Operational Bulletin OB 170-001/07.
