China Eastern A320 at Hefei on Feb 15th 2014, bird strike

A China Eastern Airbus A320-200, registration B-6012 performing flight MU-5169 from Hefei to Beijing (China), was climbing out of Hefei when the right hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird and failed. The crew shut the engine down and returned to Hefei for a safe landing about 15 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.
