Jeppesen Poland szuka pracowników

W ostatnich dniach pojawiła się kolejna ciekawa oferta pracy w branży lotniczej w naszym kraju. Polski oddział firmy Jeppesen ogłosił nabór na stanowiska Training Specialist oraz Navigation Information Analyst. Miejscem wykonywania pracy będzie siedziba spółki w Gdańsku przy ul. Arkońskiej 6.

Oddział w Polsce powstał w 2007 roku, kiedy firma Jeppesen przejęła C-MAP zajmujący się wtedy głównie cyfrową kartografią morską, tym samym C-MAP stał się bardzo ważną częścią działu morskiego Jeppesena. Od tamtego czasu Jeppesen Polska wciąż się rozwija. Obecnie w Polsce powstają także mapy i oprogramowanie nawigacyjne dla lotnictwa, takie jak np. mapy SID/STAR, APPROACH oraz AERODROME. Jest również osobny dział rozwoju oprogramowania, który pracuje nad różnymi innowacyjnymi projektami dla żeglugi morskiej i awiacji.

Firma Jeppesen posiada 31 biur w na całym świecie, gdzie zatrudnia około 3200 osób. Główna siedziba firmy znajduje się w Denver w stanie Colorado. Największe biura poza centralą to Neu Isenburg w Niemczech, Göteborg w Szwecji oraz biuro w Gdańsku, w którym obecnie zatrudnionych jest około 200 osób.

We are currently looking for: 

Navigation Information Analyst

 

Work place: Gdańsk

 

As a Navigation Information Analyst you will:

·         Create or update electronically designed aviation charts and/or procedures based on aeronautical changes provided by source provider

·         Receive considerable technical direction, training and guidance from peers, senior positions and supervisors as required or requested

·         Communicate daily in English, with team members in Poland and abroad

·         Document and communicate your work (in English)

·         Need an open, enthusiastic and proactive attitude to life combined with a sense of humour

Requirements:

·         University degree in Aviation, Geography, Geodesy, Navigation or related field

·         Experience in charting including strong understanding of topography and cultural data

·         Solid background in aeronautical navigation will be a plus

·         Practical knowledge of Bentley Microstation will be a plus

·         Experience in Geospatial Databases, ideally in the ESRI/ARGIS product line will be a plus

·         Very good command of English

·         Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks

·         Organization and multi-tasking skills

Training Specialist - Gdansk

Your responsibilities:

·         Conducting and facilitating onboarding, tool and process training for the internal client

·         Designing and developing training materials, assessments, instructional activities, presentations, outlines, user guides, job aids and instruction material

·         Developing and assessing new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery of customer training

·         Evaluating the training effectiveness and the trainees’ skills development

·         Serving as and collaborating with other subject matter experts to develop a wide variety of specialized training content

What we expect:

·         Knowledge of aviation background and navigational knowledge is required

·         Experience in conducting classroom trainings or workshops

·         Ability to prepare presentations, training materials and web-based courses

·         Competency to develop trainees’ skills and evaluate their progress

·         Great communication and presentation skills

·         Ability to cooperate internationally with various organization partners and internal clients

·         Self-driven, well-organized personality and flexibility in the dynamic business environment

·         Very good knowledge of English
