VivaColombia A320 at Pereira on Sep 14th 2014, bird strike

A VivaColombia Airbus A320-200, registration HK-4817 performing flight 5Z-8134 from Pereira to Bogota (Colombia) with 147 people on board, was climbing out of Pereira's runway 26 when an engine (CFM56) ingested a bird prompting the crew to return to Pereira for a safe landing about 15 minutes after departure.

The landfill "La Glorita" is located underneath the departure path of runway 25 and attracts a lot of birds.
