UTAir CRJ2 near Ekaterinburg on Dec 6th 2013, engine shut down in flight
A UTAir Canadair CRJ-200, registration VQ-BGM performing flight UT-443 (dep Dec 5th) from Moscow Vnukovo to Tyumen (Russia) with 42 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute near Ekaterinburg when the crew needed to shut the left hand engine (CF34) down and diverted to Ekaterinburg for a safe landing.
A replacement Boeing 737-500 registration VP-BXU reached Tyumen with a delay of 8 hours.
