US Airways A320 at Detroit on Oct 27th 2014, "bunch of flames on your right side"

A US Airways Airbus A320-200, registration N121UW performing flight US-2088 from Charlotte,NC to Detroit,MI (USA) with 141 passengers and 9 crew, landed on Detroit's runway 21L when tower radioed "Cactus, you got a bunch of flames on the right side, you want the equipment", crew responded "Yes, Sir". The aircraft rolled out without further incident and came to a stop with both right hand main tyres deflated.

The airport initially reported in error the aircraft landed on runway 21R, a departure had just received takeoff clearance on runway 21R when tower alerted the landing US Airways A320 of the problem on the right main gear, subsequent landings runway 21L were instructed to swing over to runway 21R but a minute later instructed to go around. The airport later changed to say runway 21L/03R received damage in the landing and needed to remain closed for repairs, it was expected to return to service by Tuesday (Oct 28th) evening.

The passengers disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal.
