Transaero B737 near Warsaw on Feb 17th 2014, loss of cabin pressure

A Transaero Boeing 737-700, registration EI-EUY performing flight UN-379 from Moscow Vnukovo (Russia) to Madrid,SP (Spain) with 77 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 30nm north of Warsaw (Poland) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft diverted to Warsaw for a safe landing on runway 33 about 20 minutes after leaving FL360.

A replacement Boeing 737-500 registration EI-UNG is about to reach Madrid with a delay of 7 hours.

The airline confirmed a malfunction of the air conditioning system.
