THY A320 at Barcelona on Sep 15th 2014, bird strike

A THY Turkish Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration TC-JPI performing flight TK-1851 from Istanbul (Turkey) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), suffered a bird strike on approach to Barcelona's runway 07L but continued for a safe landing.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the next morning's return flight TK-1852, which was cancelled about two hours before scheduled departure.

The occurrence aircraft departed Barcelona about 20 hours after landing and positioned back to Istanbul as flight TK-5852.
