Swiss RJ1H at Zurich on May 31st 2014, flaps problems
A Swiss European Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration HB-IXQ performing flight LX-1665 from Venice (Italy) to Zurich (Switzerland), was on final approach to Zurich's runway 28 when the crew declared PAN reporting flaps problems and went around. The aircraft climbed back to 7000 feet while working the related checklists. The crew prepared for a partial flaps landing, landed the aircraft safely on runway 34 at a higher than normal speed (about 155 knots over ground). The aircraft vacated the runway and taxied to the apron.
