Swiss RJ1H near Basel on Jun 18th 2014, cabin did not pressurize

A Swiss European Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration HB-IYZ performing flight LX-1038 from Basel/Mulhouse (Switzerland/France) to Hamburg (Germany) with 94 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Basel when the crew stopped the climb at FL110 due to the cabin not pressurizing. The aircraft diverted to Zurich (Switzerland) for a safe landing about 40 minutes after departure.

A replacement Avro RJ-100 registration HB-IXR reached Hamburg with a delay of 2 hours.

The airline confirmed problems with the cabin pressure shortly after takeoff.
