Southwest B737 near Las Vegas on Aug 18th 2014, burst tyre on takeoff

A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, flight WN-899 from Las Vegas,NV to Spokane,WA (USA), was enroute at FL330 about 130nm northeast of Las Vegas when the crew decided to return to Las Vegas after being told that debris of a tyre identified to belong to their aircraft had been found on the departure runway. The aircraft returned to Las Vegas for a safe landing on runway 07L but became disabled on the runway due to damage to hydraulic lines. The aircraft was towed to the apron.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 reached Spokane with a delay of 3:45 hours.
