Ryanair B738 at Malta on Oct 17th 2014, problem with nose gear
A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EPC performing flight FR-6696 from Malta (Malta) to Edinburgh,SC (UK), was climbing out of Malta's runway 13 when the crew stopped the climb at 8000 feet reporting a problem with the nose gear. The aircraft entered a hold to troubleshoot the issue and burn off fuel, then returned to Malta for a safe landing on runway 13 about 70 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration EI-EVN reached Edinburgh as flight FR-6699 with a delay of 4 hours.
