Royal Jordanian A321 at Paris on Dec 27th 2013, runway excursion

A Royal Jordanian Airbus A321-200, registration JY-AYJ performing flight RJ-117 from Amman (Jordan) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), landed on Charles de Gaulle Airport's runway 26L at about 10:50L (09:50Z) but veered temporarily off the runway damaging a number of runway egde lights. The aircraft taxied to the apron, where the passengers disembarked normally.

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight RJ-118 about 2.5 hours after landing with a delay of 1.5 hours.

The French BEA rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
