Republic E175 at Charlotte on Oct 11th 2014, hydraulic failure

A Republic Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of US Airways, registration N109HQ performing flight YX-5782/US-5782 from Greensboro,NC to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 28 passengers and 4 crew, was on approach to Charlotte when the crew aborted the approach due to a hydraulic failure, climbed the aircraft back to 4000 feet and entered a hold to work the checklists. The aircraft subsequently positioned for another approach and landed safely at a normal speed about 20 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The occurrence aircraft was unable to continue its schedule, the next sector to Indianapolis had to be cancelled. The aircraft was able to resume service the following morning however.
