Republic DH8D at Kansas City on Jun 4th 2014, engine shut down in flight

A Republic Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of United, registration N195WQ performing flight YX-4936/UA-4936 from Kansas City,MO to Denver,CO (USA) with 37 people on board, was climbing out of Kansas City when the crew stopped the climb at 14,000 feet due to the failure of the right hand engine, shut the engine down and returned to Kansas City for a safe landing on runway 09 about 35 minutes after departure and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
