Pegasus B738 at Istanbul on Dec 4th 2013, bird strike
A Pegasus Boeing 737-800, registration TC-AAE performing flight PC-705 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) to Milan Bergamo (Italy), was climbing out of Istanbul's runway 06 when the crew stopped the climb at FL240 reporting a bird strike and returned to Sabiha Gokcen Airport for a safe landing on runway 06 about 30 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration TC-AIS reached Milan with a delay of 2 hours.
A passenger reported the crew indicated the aircraft had been struck by birds just after takeoff.
