Novair A321 at Oslo on Aug 31st 2014, indication of flat tyre after departure

A Novair Airbus A321-200, registration SE-RDN performing flight 1I-235 from Oslo (Norway) to Chania (Greece) with 191 people on board, departed Oslo's runway 19L and was climbing out of Oslo when the crew stopped the climb at FL160 and entered a hold due to indication of a flat left main tyre. The aircraft burned off fuel at 6000 feet for about 2 hours and returned to Oslo for a safe landing on runway 19L about 135 minutes after departure. Attending emergency services found no flat tyre.

The airline reported it appeared all tyres were holding pressure and a malfunction of the sensor/indication prompted the return.
