Norwegian B738 at Umea on May 16th 2014, rejected takeoff
A Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800, registration LN-DYP performing flight DY-4014 from Umea to Stockholm (Sweden), was accelerating for takeoff from Umea when passengers heard a bang followed by strong vibrations of the aircraft. The crew rejected takeoff at high speed and stopped the aircraft safely.
The airline reported the left nose gear tyre had been punctured.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LN-DYC reached Stockholm with a delay of 5.5 hours.
