Emirates A388 near Dubai on Feb 21st 2014, noisy door

An Emirates Airlines Airbus A380-800, registration A6-EDB performing flight EK-354 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Singapore (Singapore), was enroute at FL370 about 80 minutes into the flight when the crew decided to descend the aircraft to FL200 and return to Dubai for a safe landing about 3 hours after departure.

A replacement Airbus A380-800 registration A6-EEF reached Singapore with a delay of 7:30 hours.

A passenger in the lower deck reported the captain announced passengers in the upper deck heard loud noises from a door, the Dubai maintenance team had instructed the crew to return to Dubai. The crew dumped fuel on the way back.
